Matching letters to their sounds can be tricky at first, but my students love learning correspondence with this fun picture matching game! Each card has an image, and students match the letter to the picture's beginning sound. Especially when students are first learning their letters, I like to use magnetic letters for matching so that they get more practice identifying the letter's shape.
But as they grow, you can use letter cards (like these). As an additional differentiation, students can write the letter with a dry erase marker if you laminate each card. Tons of ways to make this game work for your students!
